For Decades, foreign and non-state actors have devoted significant resources to influence or control teaching, which is a MAJOR RED FLAG.
In 2004, the department explicitly permitted these anonymous foreign gifts and contracts! And when they decided to make them start confirming these Donations in 2008, Congress conducted no oversight on the matter
Beginning in 2009, the flow of money from the Middle East & China rose massively with the purpose of pushing Chinese paid for programming/narratives
So the mind blowing kicker is that NOT ONLY was there already $7.65 BILLION dollars in foreign donations already reported, but once Betsy Davos started her investigation in 2019 institutions suddenly started "catching up their books" to the tune of ANOTHER $6.5 BILLION in donations that suddenly appeared!
14.15 Billion dollars of foreign influence, a lot of which from Communist China!
Keep in mind this is only what they've admitted to! And half of it only AFTER the Department of Ed started investigating..
Not to mention that only "Fewer that 300 of the 6000 US institutions" apparently have reported in the first place...
What else might China's Deep Pockets have influence over? Our Politicians? Elections?
